3M NASCAR® Fantasy Racing is a game based on the race results of the 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup season. Each participant will be allowed to choose five drivers for each race and receive points based on the finishes of their picks.
Signing Up
No purchase necessary. Playing 3M NASCAR Fantasy Racing is free. Participants may register to play at any time during the course of the 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup season, beginning on February 18, 2009. To register, complete the online registration form located at www.3MFantasyRacing.com.
Eligibility
The 3M NASCAR Fantasy Racing game is open only to US Residents who are 13 years of age or older.
Making Picks
Each week, pick the 5 cars/drivers you think will do the best for that race. When making your picks for the first time, your selections will automatically be applied to each race in the season that has yet to be played.
Regular Season Schedule
The first scheduled race that is eligible for this game is on Sunday, February 17th, 2009, and the final scheduled race is on Sunday, November 16, 2009. To be eligible for a race, participants' entries for that race must be made by midnight CST on the night before the race.
Scoring
Participants will receive points equal to the number of points awarded by NASCAR to the drivers that they picked. Points are only awarded for the car number/driver combinations listed on this website.
Overall Season
At the end of the regular season the player with the highest overall point total will be declared the Grand Prize winner. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by the player whose picks included the most number of race winners during the course of the season. If a tie still exits, the Grand prize winner will be decided by a random drawing. The Grand Prize winner will receive 2 tickets to a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race. 3M Employees and next of kin are not eligible for prizes.
